Our Local Curry Restaurant Replaces Their Furniture More Often Than Their Menu
We all seem to have such busy lives and it is important to try and make sure that you still manage to spend time with family.
In our house we try and ensure that we all sit down to a family dinner. It gives us time to catch up on what has been happening during the day and enjoy a bit of family time.
With the children all but grown up now this isn’t always possible as they always seem to be out with either their partners or friends.
However, Friday night is still family night and we all make sure we are free.
Sometimes I make the effort to cook, but more often than not I will convince everybody to take a stroll down to our local Indian Restaurant. Luckily it’s only a short walk away so we can all get to enjoy a drink with our meal and then take a nice slow walk home at the end of the night.
We have been visiting the same restaurant for over 5 years and I will admit they have had a few refurbishments in that time.
When we first started going there they had a lot of worn out looking bar furniture. This was soon replaced and in came the caf© furniture phase. This was certainly an improvement, but in my opinion still not the right look for an Indian Restaurant.
Within about 6 months another refurbishment followed and out went the old and in came the beautiful modern furniture.
I absolutely love this look and it has given the whole restaurant a whole new lease of life.
They always seem to be showcasing new ideas and just recently have introduced a stunning buffet area.
As well as an endless supply of popodams and accompaniments, they have about 20 different dishes you can enjoy.
It is good because you get a chance to try different dishes that you wouldn’t normally order and if you don’t like it, then it doesn’t matter you just try something else.
Well all this writing about food has made me hungry and even though it’s only Tuesday I might just have to suggest to the family that we have a curry tonight as I can already taste my prawn biryani!!
