There are some really popular hobbies out there I am pretty safe in saying that but what are the most popular ones nowadays? Are there any that were around many years ago that have somehow managed to stay alive and survive on? the following are some of the really popular hobbies out there.

Video Gaming

This hobby did of course come about in the 80s but it is only recently that things started to come forward with gaming, the masses have started to pick them up and play them. It is a major industry now and one that is worth almost as much as music and film combined because of the sheer number of people that play them. older people are starting to pick up on the video games too which is great, it is not always just about the younger people now. of course a lot of this was down to the fact the Wii was released but it worked.

Model Kits

People love building model kits, there is no doubt about this, it is still very popular today even though it is an old hobby. I would say it has managed to stay near the top because it is one that is always updated. You will not see that a RC helicopter from the 90s looks anything like the ones around today. The same goes for other things like Hornby train sets. passion, this is what this hobby has a lot of and it is a great thing and something that pushes the hobby forward.

these are only two of the thousands of hobbies out there but they are massive ones and are very popular. If you haven’t heard of either of these then the chances are you are out of touch on the things that are used today.
