Sri Lanka the Pros and the Cons of a holiday!

Ok I have taken this holiday choice for one very good reason. This is going to be one of the biggest holidays of the year according to several tour operators. There are a few people that do not research a country they are going to at all, so this should help out a bit. This is where I thought i might be able to help by sharing a small amount of knowledge with everyone!

It will be an expensive booking to get here, however when you arrive, you will find the cost for anything there to be ridiculously cheap? You have gotta love how cheap it is. You won’t need much money once you arrive, everything is very cheap, it’s just the initial cost. The great thing about Sri Lanka is quite simply the hotels. The chance to be treated like royalty is not something you could come across in many other countries. There is also a lovely chance for you to indulge in a safari, the majority of the time people like to explore this country, and this activity allows you to do this. If your looking for something fun and exciting then a safari through the Sri Lankan jungles and forests is a sure way to find it. There is a lot of ways for people to enjoy themselves on holiday in Sri Lanka.

This isn’t a holiday without any down falls, there are a few things that you may want to know about it. You have to be wary of what time of the year you travel out to Sri Lanka, the Rainy season takes place from October to January. The rain is truly immense. Now if you don’t mind getting a bit wet (it’s worse than a bit but never mind), then there are a couple of other problems. Unfortunately the country is in a civil war (which is supposed to have ended) but things are still a little tense. One mistake many people make is wandering off into the wilderness alone, just make sure that someone is with you at all times. Finally the Jabs, there are several injections that you must endure if you want to travel here, and that is one of the worst bits for me!

Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!
