Now I know what you are thinking, not another driving game right? Although this is another driving game it has its differences from other driving games, let me explain. For me it plays like a cross between Forza 3, Mario Kart and Wipeout all in one and this is a fantastic effect indeed. The last game this studio made was Gotham racing but they do not play the same at all.

The game is complete chaos from the starting line right to the finish and anything can happen. Even if you have a really good race and you manage to turn the last corner first, I wouldn’t bank on you winning. It is actually the weapons or powerups in this game that remind me so much of the Wipeout series. There are eight of them in total within the game and they range from offensive ones like the bolt, shunt, barge, mine and shock to the defensive ones like the nitro boost, repair and shield.

The good thing is that you can store up to three at a time and you drive over the one which suits you the best. Some of the powerups really do remind me of Mario Kart, the shunt for example is a lot like the red shell and the shock is a lot like the green one and of course mines are a lot like the bananas. The great thing about this game is that it does not matter if you are one of the best gaming drivers in the world there is still no confirmation that you are going to win even one of these races, this is awesome.

Back in the real world you won’t find anything like this when it comes to car leasing and new Audi and you won’t find that your reverse parking sensors fire off heat seeking missiles, sorry about that.
