Why Are Geeky Glasses In Fashion

Messy bed hair, grey hair, beards and now geeky glasses, some strannge trends coming out this year. Are the fashions this year just even stranger than before or is that just me?

So far big stars such as Britney Spears, Lady GaGa and Pixie Lott have all started to wear geeky glasses but are this because they actually care about the thousands of people that have to wear these glasses in school? It is just the trend and as soon as this gets old they will drop them, is this a good thing to do. Is this something that is fair?

Well the thing is people will start to think geeky glasses are cool and will buy them without lenses in them and as soon as the trend finishes they will inevitably throw them into the garbage. No one seems to care about the people that cannot actually take off their glasses when a trend has finished? As soon as the trend is over they will become the butt of jokes again and for what?

A Good Thing

While the trend well make some of the geekier looking children a bit cooler for a while there is more to think about too. Trends are cool among many people and these people may actually look into talking to the geeky looking people. Once this happens they may realise that they are no different from anyone else and actually become very good friends.

On most cases this will not happen but there will be several where something good does happen from it.

Most of the stars that are doing this are not interested in the people they are only interested in the current trends.

What will the next trend be, aviator glasses, ray ban sunglasses or perhaps a nice pair of ray ban wayfarer? Whatever the trend I am certain celebrities will not be interested on the effect it has on “real” people.
